Jim Abbott


Retired pitcher and Olympic gold medalist Jim Abbott is a motivational speaker, delivering his message of overcoming adversity to audiences across the country. Born without a right hand, Abbott pitched in the major leagues for 10 years, retiring in 1999 with the Milwaukee Brewers. In addition to motivational speaking, Abbott serves as a guest pitching instructor with the Angels and has worked with the Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy.
